Bring your mission. Help shape the infrastructure that makes it possible.
We are assembling a small group of prospective and developing SGOs to participate in the SGOone Founding SGO Cohort. The objective is to help new SGOs become organized, operational, and sustainable while reducing the money they must spend building administrative infrastructure from scratch.

Subject to program funding, final program structure, and applicable requirements, selected organizations may receive some or all of the following at little or no cost.
Reduce administrative barriers so more resources can support scholarship opportunities.
Start where you are
You do not need to have every detail finalized. Early-stage organizations are encouraged to participate.
Express InterestThere is no single model for what an SGO has to look like. Some may serve a local community, while others focus on a particular group of students, educational need, learning philosophy, or type of opportunity.

A Better Fit Can Change Everything
A strong SGO starts with a clear purpose. It may begin with a community you care about, students who need more options, or an educational opportunity you believe should be easier to access.
The mission can be specific or broad. What matters is turning that purpose into real educational opportunity.
These examples illustrate possible missions, not program eligibility. Students, expenses, and scholarship policies must meet applicable program requirements.
From an idea to an operating organization
A new opportunity is emerging for organizations that want to expand educational opportunity through Scholarship Granting Organizations. But starting an SGO requires more than forming an organization and accepting donations.
SGOs need systems for contributions, scholarship applications, eligibility, awards, financial controls, payments, reporting, compliance, documentation, and ongoing operations.
SGOone is being built to make that easier.

Each participating SGO remains an independent organization.
SGOone provides infrastructure and operating tools. SGOone does not control your organization's governance, donors, mission, scholarship criteria, or operations.
Participation is not certification, accreditation or a determination of legal or regulatory eligibility.
